It was narrated from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a young man came to our beloved Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: “O Messenger of Allah, permit me to commit adultery.” The people scolded him and said, “Be quiet.”
Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) called the young man to him and said: “Would you like it for your mother?” He said: “No, O Prophet of Allah.”
Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him: “Would you like it for your sister?” He said: “No.”
He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked again: “Would you like it for your aunt?” The man said: “No, I will not like it.”
Then he (peace be upon him) placed his blessed hand on him and said, “O Allah, forgive his sins and purify his heart from indecency.”
